Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position for a School Psychologist is based in San Jose, CA, offering the opportunity to provide essential psychological services to students within a school setting. The role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and supporting students mental health and educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and behavioral interventions to support student well-being.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant regulations and confidentiality requirements.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or license in California.
  • Experience working in a school environment.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and psychological theory.
