Production Technical Lead – Commercial Bakery Manufacturing


We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, internationally respected bakery manufacturer known for producing premium, artisanal baked goods at scale. Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities while ensuring strict compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, and safety standards.

• Apply strong knowledge of bakery manufacturing processes, including mixing, fermentation, proofing, baking, cooling, and packaging.

• Develop, write, implement, and train team members on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment and production processes.

• Provide hands-on technical support to troubleshoot equipment and process issues, partnering closely with maintenance teams.

• Support production planning, scheduling, and real-time problem solving to maintain consistent output and product quality.

• Utilize manufacturing software to track production data, submit work orders, complete documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead and support production teams on the floor, stepping into multiple roles as needed to sustain throughput and efficiency.

• Adapt to a flexible schedule based on production demands.


Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for bakery or baked goods production.

• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Production Supervisor, or senior production role in a high-volume manufacturing operation.

• Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, food safety programs, and OSHA requirements.

• Experience with automated production lines, bakery equipment, and conveyor-based systems.

• Proven ability to train, coach, and mentor production staff, promoting accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

• Solid computer proficiency, including manufacturing systems, documentation tools, and basic data analysis.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage unexpected production challenges and implement effective process improvements.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education in manufacturing, engineering, or food science is a plus.


Pay

$38.00 - $42.00 per hour


Schedule

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
