Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare opportunity is available for an Interventional Radiology Technologist equipped with specialized skills in outpatient and inpatient imaging procedures. This contract position requires a dedicated professional with hands-on experience in advanced IR techniques, supporting a busy tertiary care academic medical center.
Location:
The role is based in Saint Peters, Missouri, near a major medical center known for its research and educational affiliations. This area offers a suburban environment with convenient local amenities and access to a vibrant community atmosphere in the greater St. Louis region.
Schedule:
- 4x10 hour shifts
- Days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call rotation averaging 10 days per month, including weekends
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of IR technology experience
- BLS and ARRT certifications
- Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings
- Proficiency with PACS, C-Arm, contrast media, and biopsy procedures
- Skilled in stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, vascular studies, and neuro procedures
- Ability to use pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, and injector systems (preferably ACIST)
- Epic electronic health record experience required
- Must meet call and holiday work requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with complex interventional radiology procedures
- Operate advanced diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care plans
- Maintain precise documentation and patient safety standards
