Position Title: Clinical Director
Location: Alleviant Integrated Mental Health (Bentonville, Bryant, Conway, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Jonesboro, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Rogers)

Position Overview

Alleviant Integrated Mental Health is seeking a strategic, people-centered, and clinically confident Clinical Director to lead and elevate our Clinical Team, which includes APRNs and Therapists, across multiple outpatient behavioral health clinics. The Clinical Director serves as a senior clinical leader responsible for aligning clinical operations with the organization’s mission, growth strategy, and quality standards. This role is non-patient-facing and focuses on clinical oversight, program development, provider performance, compliance, and clinical excellence across all locations.

The Clinical Director partners with executive leadership to ensure that care delivery models are scalable, evidence-based, operationally efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.

This individual must excel in fast-paced, evolving clinical environments, demonstrate exceptional communication, and possess strong clinical judgment, operational awareness, and leadership presence.

Key Responsibilities/Strategic Clinical Leadership

  • Drive the clinical vision in alignment with company mission, growth objectives, and service line expansion
  • Partner with executive leadership (CEO, CMO, CFO) on clinical strategy, innovation, and service development
  • Evaluate and implement new clinical programs
  • Ensure consistency and standardization of care delivery across all clinics

Clinical Quality

  • Establish and monitor clinical quality across all service lines
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols, pathways, and best practices
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure continuous clinical excellence
  • Review trends in provider performance and coach for optimal treatment outcomes

Provider Oversight & Performance

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for clinical providers
  • Establish provider performance expectations aligned with quality, compliance, and productivity
  • Partner with operations to address performance gaps and drive improvement
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and clinical training of providers

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, state boards)
  • Oversee clinical documentation standards and audit readiness
  • Partner with legal/compliance teams on risk mitigation and incident response
  • Maintain oversight of scope of practice, supervision requirements, and credentialing alignment

Clinical Operations Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations leadership to align clinical workflows with operational efficiency
  • Support development of scalable clinical processes and systems
  • Provide clinical input on scheduling models, staffing structures, and patient flow
  • Ensure clinical integrity while optimizing operational performance

Training & Clinical Development

  • Design and oversee clinical training programs for providers and staff
  • Promote a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning

Culture & Mission Alignment

  • Champion the organization’s mission, values, and patient-centered philosophy
  • Serve as a clinical voice in leadership discussions and organizational decisions
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative clinical culture

Qualifications

Required

  • Active, unrestricted clinical license (APRN, MSN, and PMHNP)
  • 10+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health or related field
  • 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing clinical teams or programs
  • Strong understanding of multi-site healthcare operations
  • Experience with clinical program development and quality management

Preferred

  • Experience in interventional psychiatry (e.g., PrTMS, ketamine, Spravato)
  • Experience scaling clinical operations across multiple locations or states
  • Prior executive or director-level leadership experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
