Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Planning and Supply of Manufacturing Components
- Responsible for the development of a production plan, by SKU, production line, and week for up to 52 rolling weeks, that is feasible for the production plant to execute against,
- Create and load the manufacturing plan in ERP on a weekly basis,
- Planning and scheduling material requirements, providing forecast data for suppliers (production, raw materials, BICS),
- Ensure component availability is feasible for the production plan and adjust accordingly if needed,
- Communicate the updated plan with all relevant stakeholders and adjust as needed to ensure the component availability,
- Define and challenge the component stock policies needed to optimize the balance between inventory levels and flexibility,
- Reporting risks and mitigating as necessary,
- Monitor and challenge the component obsolescence risks,
- Develop strategies for identifying and mitigating supply chain risks,
- Analyzes gaps between supply requests and production plan and reconciles them with other stakeholder on weekly basis,
- Optimize manufacturing schedules in collaboration with the project and production teams,
- Work closely with production to ensure planning alignment around production line stoppages and planning volumes,
- Participation in the processing of primary requirements (sales orders), checking and confirming quantity and schedule plans,
- Shipping planning and support in shipping execution (e.g., creating shipping and picking lists).
Reporting and Data Management
- Define and maintain key performance indicators related to activities within scope,
- Ensure data IT compliance as it relates to the position requirements,
- Maintain relevant Item and MRP data in ERP e.g. lead time families, safety stock targets, ABC classification, etc.
Other duties
- Support on the creation or revision of planning and logistics-related work and packaging instructions,
- Support in conducting audits,
- Support on complaint processes (customer and supplier complaints).
Minimum degree and experience
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field or 2+ years relevant experience in a planning or scheduling role
or
Technician in the area injection molding /assembly, interested in production planning/material-flows with 2+ years relevant experience in a planning or scheduling role.

- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing production demands and handle the dynamic nature of manufacturing operations,
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks,
- Multi-tasking: Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and objectives simultaneously.
