Summary

Perform a variety of activities to onboard our merchants and assist in setting up process for existing merchants through deploying credit card processing products. Responsibilities include application quality control and data entry, software set up, terminal downloading and shipping.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Follow the standard process and best practices to bring clients onboard and online in the stipulated timeframe
- Maintain a high level of process quality and consistency as well as an excellent relationship with the customer
- Completes quality control checks to ensure merchant accounts are set up correctly and updates information in databases as needed.
- Perform data entry for new merchant applications.
- Perform underwriting tasks including tracking merchant status, following up with Sales Agents or Partner Support Managers if additional information is needed and working to resolve any risk concerns from our processing partners.
- Communicates with Partner Support Managers, Sales Agents, and other Implementation teams daily.
- Downloads credit card terminals with appropriate applications and tests for proper functionality.
- Ships terminals and supplies to merchants as required in the most efficient manner.
Additional Functions
- Prioritizes and solves issues through to completion.?
- Identifies issues that require further escalation and tracks them through to resolution.
- Monitors department email accounts for incoming merchant application and product questions and answers them according to prescribed standards
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, conducive to team development
- Works independently, has good judgment and consistent follow-through
- Ability to work effectively with demanding customers
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in simple of terms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to one day per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, marketing or other related fields is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a financial institution or customer service/data entry position required
- Strong Communication Skills Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
