Job Title: Registered Dietitian – Renal/Dialysis

We are seeking a motivated and confident Registered Dietitian who is ready to take ownership of renal nutrition care and make a measurable impact on patient outcomes.
About the Role
We are seeking a Renal Healthcare Dietitian (RDN) to provide expert medical nutrition therapy to patients undergoing dialysis. The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving patient outcomes through nutrition education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary nutrition expert for dialysis patients, managing all aspects of renal nutrition care
- Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and interpret lab values, adjusting nutrition interventions accordingly.
- Provide clear, firm, and compassionate patient education related to renal diets, fluid management, and intake control.
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute confidently to patient care decisions.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with CMS, ESRD, and facility standards.
- Monitor and document patient progress in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Advocate for patients while maintaining clinical boundaries and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and dialysis protocols.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including initial assessments and monthly progress notes.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient reviews.
- Provide ongoing staff education, including bi-monthly in-service training.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential (required).
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Ability to work independently and manage a full patient census.
- Strong communication skills with patients, staff, and providers.
- Strong knowledge of renal nutrition, CKD, ESRD, and dialysis modalities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation Skills.
- Minimum 1 year of renal/dialysis experience preferred (new renal dietitians encouraged to apply with training support)
