Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Our Organization

Location: 12244 W Broad St, Henrico, VA 23233


Schedule:

  • Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Compensation: Bi-weekly hourly pay with the option for Daily Pay to access earnings as they are accrued.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required).
  • Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and the development of clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care and overall dental health maintenance.
  • Clinical requirements as needed by the office.

Physical Requirements

  • Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Adjustments may be made to assist individuals with disabilities in fulfilling the essential functions of the role.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to participate in virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
  • To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment. Arrangements for the test will be made during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided. This requirement does not apply in the states of FL & TN.
