Warehouse Associate
Debrand is currently looking for team members for a temporary role with the potential to transition to full-time based on business need. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, processing materials based on customer's needs, following quality guidelines for quality sortation projects, and working with heavy machinery such as balers and conveyors. Essential duties and responsibilities
- Assist with unloading and receiving customer product
- Open bales, crates and other containers
- Process materials for recycling as per standard protocols, including removing irritants (hangtags, rubber bands, polybags, etc), or quality inspecting for alternative solutions
- Sort used apparel according to conditional grading criteria
- Operate a forklift (preferable)
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Wear the proper safety equipment (steel toe shoes & high visibility vest)
Qualification requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
- A valid Driver’s License
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
- Dependable and Reliable
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
- Physical demands and abilities
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-20lbs and occasionally move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
Job Type: Temporary with the potential to transition to full-time.
Salary: Starting at $19.45/hr
Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Paid 15 minute breaks at 10:00am and 2:00pm
- Unpaid 30 minute lunch break at 12:00pm
Experience:
- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
