Construction Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, scheduling, and managing all aspects of the project to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.

Job Description / Responsibilities

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing construction projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Creating and maintaining project schedules
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, foremen, and field crews
  • Reviewing drawings, plans, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Managing project budgets, costs, change orders, and purchase orders
  • Ordering and coordinating materials and deliveries
  • Attending site meetings and communicating with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
  • Tracking daily progress and resolving field issues quickly
  • Ensuring work is completed according to plans, specifications, codes, and company standards
  • Monitoring site safety and making sure OSHA/company safety procedures are followed
  • Preparing reports, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Managing inspections, punch lists, closeout documents, and final project handover
  • Identifying delays, risks, or problems and creating solutions to keep the project moving
  • Supporting superintendents and foremen with daily coordination
  • Maintaining strong communication with management and clients

Requirements

  • Experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction, remodels, tenant finish-outs, or new builds
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong scheduling, organization, and communication skills
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and field crews
  • Knowledge of safety standards and jobsite procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems under pressure
  • Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, PDFs, schedules, and project documents
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial construction projects
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Experience working with city inspections and permitting
