JSARC Architects and Interiors is currently seeking to fill an immediate position for a full-time Project Manager/Architect with 4+ years of experience. We are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills, effective written, verbal, and drawing communication skills, and the ability to creatively solve project challenges. This individual will be able to move projects forward in a positive manner by effectively collaborating with our team, clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stake holders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual design, presentations, and create construction documents
• Coordinate project team members throughout the entire design and construction document process to assure architectural design intent and timely document delivery.
• Participate in other team members project designs and documentation
• Present design and project solutions to clients, ARC boards, and other project stake holders
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and others to meet overall project objectives.
• Manage client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination
• Conduct product, materials, and systems evaluations for architectural design intent and construction
• Collaborate in team meetings to discuss project challenges, technical challenges, and coordination with other disciplines
• Manages conflict effectively and encourages a collaborative team environment
• Assist in delivering a project within the defined budget requirements and maintaining accountability to architectural intent and construction

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience
• Proficiency in Autocad and Sketchup or Revit required
• Proficiency in other software such as MS Office, Revu or acrobat, twin motion or other rendering program a plus
• Understand residential building systems required
• Knowledge of IRC and other residential codes
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally, drawing, and in writing
• Degree is a bonus but not required for the right individual.
