Industrial Electrician | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Install, commission, and upgrade electrical components, wiring, and control panels.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions using schematics, blueprints, and testing equipment.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and motor control systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
- Calibrate and test electrical instruments and sensors for accuracy.
Recommended Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent state certification.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems, including PLCs, motor controls, and VFDs.
- Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety standards (e.g., LOTO, Arc Flash).
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and root cause analysis in a manufacturing environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with PLC programming and logic modification.
- Robotics electrical troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in setting up and optimizing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Experience with instrumentation and process control loops.
