About the project
Join an S/4HANA implementation team to build clear, accurate business process documentation and process maps that guide design, configuration, and end-user adoption. You will work closely with project leadership and SMEs in a fast-moving environment.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with stakeholders/SMEs to understand current and future-state processes.

  • Create detailed business process documentation and flow maps (e.g., Visio).

  • Capture steps, decision points, roles, inputs/outputs, and system touchpoints.

  • Route documentation for review/approval and iterate quickly.

  • Track work on a time-and-materials basis and follow project governance.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.

Must-have qualifications

  • 2+ years professional technical writing (IT/business focus preferred).

  • Experience on at least one SAP project documenting business processes.

  • Ability to translate complex SAP concepts into clear, user-friendly content.

  • Strong process-mapping skills and tool proficiency (Visio or similar).

  • Excellent writing/editing, organization, and multi-project coordination.

  • Comfortable producing annotated screenshots and visual aids.

Technical skills

  • Working knowledge of SAP (ECC/S/4 context).

  • Understanding of business operations/workflows (utilities or similar a plus).

  • Proficiency with document management and process-mapping tools.

Nice to have

  • Solid SAP background and/or SAP certifications (e.g., S/4HANA BPI, Finance, Supply Chain).

Work setup & schedule

  • Hybrid: onsite attendance as needed per project schedule.

  • Typical collaboration window: 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. PT (flexible as needed).

  • Must work within the United States with reliable internet.

  • Start: ASAP | Duration: up to 960 hours (T&M).
