Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist specializing in cardiac imaging and interventional procedures. This contract role is based in Verona, WI, offering a dynamic work environment where you will utilize your expertise in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures including ASD closures and cardiac stent placements.
- Operate and interpret advanced imaging equipment such as PACS, Fluoroscopy, Philips, and Siemens systems.
- Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias during procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in call responsibilities, including coverage one day per week (Monday through Thursday) and every fourth weekend, ensuring seamless patient support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS certification required.
- One year of experience in a diagnostic or interventional cardiac cath lab setting; first-time travelers are welcome.
- State licensure pertinent to the role.
- Proficient in adult diagnostic catheterization and interventional cardiac techniques.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythm interpretation.
Schedule and Shift Details:
- Varying shifts including 07:0015:30, 17:3001:00 (with two staff on stay-late shift), and 08:3017:00 (call shift).
- Call duties approximately one day per week and every fourth weekend from 17:00 Friday to 07:00 Monday.
- Five 8-hour day shifts are available (07:0015:30).
