We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Electrician specializing in Industrial Maintenance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, industrial machinery, and maintenance procedures. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems in machinery and control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and production teams
- Respond to emergency situations and perform repairs as needed
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and installations
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
QualificationsRequired:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman Electrician certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, codes, and safety practices
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and motor controls
- Familiarity with various types of industrial machinery and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations
Preferred:
- Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or related field
- Additional certifications (e.g., Master Electrician, NFPA 70E)
- Experience with energy management systems and efficiency improvements
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and technologies
Technical Skills
Candidates should be proficient in the following areas:
- Electrician: Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and wiring. Ability to install, maintain, and repair various electrical components and equipment.
- Industrial Maintenance: Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, equipment, and systems. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Machines: Familiarity with a wide range of industrial machines, including motors, generators, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and automated production lines.
