Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting client engagements, and mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Conduct tax research and stay up to date on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Assist with tax planning and compliance to optimize client outcomes
- Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery of services
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and provide insights
- Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance and mentorship
- Identify process improvements and contribute to team efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA license or progress toward certification preferred
- 3+ years of public accounting or relevant tax experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
