The Role
As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality dental care and ensuring patients feel welcomed, supported, and well cared for throughout their visit. Working closely with the Dentist and Dental Hygienist, you will provide advanced chairside assistance, perform expanded duties within your scope of licensure, and support efficient, safe, and positive clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care and dental procedures.
- Provide advanced chairsideassistanceto the Dentist and Dental Hygienist during a variety of treatments and procedures.
- Take and process dental x-raysin accordance withsafety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintainaccuratepatient records, treatment documentation, and electronic dental charts in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Educate patientsonoral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Perform expanded functions within RDA scope of practice, which may include impressions, placement and removal of materials, fluoride application, restorative support, and related clinical duties aspermitted.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments andmaintainclean, safe treatment areas in compliance with ADA, OSHA, and CDC guidelines.
- Support clinic operations bymonitoringsupplies,maintainingequipment, completing requiredtrainings, and contributing to overall workflow efficiency.
Desirable Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certificationrequired
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant in a clinical settingrequired
- Current X-ray Certificationrequired
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certificationrequired
- Familiarity with electronic dental records (EHR) preferred

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, typically scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Standard work hours are generally consistent, with some variation possible based on clinic operations and patient care needs.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The anticipated starting pay range for this role is $30.27 to $34.81 per hour.
