LHH is partnering with a leading automotive group in San Diego, CA to hire a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. About the Role
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor communication, payment execution, and reconciliation. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and maintaining strong relationships with internal departments and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices, (2-way and 3-way matching) ensuring accuracy and proper documentation

Resolve discrepancies related to billing, pricing, or delivery

Prepare and run weekly check run via checks, ACH, or electronic transfers

Maintain W-9 records and process 1099’s yearly

Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues

Reconcile vendor statements and AP sub-ledgers

Assist with month-end close and financial reporting

Support audits by providing documentation and transaction history

Maintain accounts payable files
Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting function

Associates Degree in accounting or related field is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
