An opportunity exists for an experienced professional to provide essential occupational therapy services within a K-12 educational setting in Quincy, MA. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and students.
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop tailored therapy plans to enhance their functional abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate occupational therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student challenges and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made.
