Job Summary: Provide primary teacher with support by assisting students with daily lessons. The teacher aide will also substitute for the primary teacher when teacher is absent from the classroom.
Essential Functions:
- Cooperate with the Board and Hope Christian School Administration in implementing all policies, procedures and directives governing the operation of the school.
- Comply with all Hope Christian School policies and procedures, which includes attending all required meetings/training.
- Assist teacher with instructing student with the lesson plan.
- Assist students in completing instructional assignments.
- Assist with grading assignments.
- Work in small groups to provide specialized assistance.
- Perform clerical and non-instructional work as needed.
- Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings, in-service, and chapels.
Requirements:
- Reflect the purpose of the school, which is to honor Christ.
- High School diploma, G.E.D. certificate, some college preferred.
- 45 hour course completed in preschool.
- Knowledge and experience in classroom management.
