The Accounts Receivable Manageris responsible for the oversight, analysis, and resolution of outstanding receivables across the organization's pharmacy locations. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Accounting team and the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) department, ensuring timelycollections,accurateaging analysis, and clean reconciliation of third-party payer balances. The AR Manager does not own the billing function but partners closely with RCM to drive resolution of claims, denials, and unapplied cash.
This role ishybrid, with a minimumoftwo days per weekinAltruixscorporate headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD.
Compensation for this role is $110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and review the AR aging schedule across all payer classes
- Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledgeron a monthlybasis;document and clear variances.
- Perform payer-level reconciliations usingNetRx, PMS reporting, and GL data
- Assistwith month-end and year-end close activities including accruals and AR reserve analysis.
- Prepare allowance for doubtfulaccountscalculations and support audit-ready documentation.
- Identifytrends indayssales outstanding (DSO) and escalate risks to the finance team.
- Establish andmonitorcollectiontargets and payer-specific resolution timelines.
- Ensuretimelyposting of remittances and proper application of payments to open balances.
- Partner with the RCM team to prioritize and workdownhigh-value and aged claim buckets.
- Communicate AR metrics and open items in regular cross-functional meetings with RCM leadership.
- Review RCM-generated reports for completeness and accuracy before they feed into financial close.
- Produce weekly and monthly AR reporting packages for Finance and operational leadership.
- Analyze unapplied cash, credit balances, and refund exposures; drivetimelyresolution.
- Contribute AR data and commentary to financial reporting packages and board materials as needed.
- Performsadditionalad hoc analyses asrequired.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent in AccountingorFinance.
- 8+years ofaccounting experience.
- Strong understanding of billing, collections, and cash application processes.
- StrongExcelskills.
- Strong problemsolverwho can clean up processes and build scalable systems.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPApreferred butnotrequired.
- Pharmacy industry experience.
- Prior experience ina privateequity-backed company,particularly in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with Pharmacy Management Systems (PMS);experience with reconciliation tools (NetRx)
- Experience using data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for AR dashboards
- Knowledge of Sage IntacctG/Lsystem preferred.

Schedule
This role ishybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in Altruixs corporate headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD
(40 Wight Avenue Suite 100 Hunt Valley, MD 21030).
