Position Details:
Title: Audiologist
Location: Edinburg, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Travel: Training in Corpus Christi, TX
Driscoll offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Audiologist to join our dynamic team. This role is based in Edinburg/McAllen, TX with training at our main hospital in Corpus Christi, TX.
As part of the Driscoll family, you will provide life-changing care to children by diagnosing and treating hearing disorders. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, and play a vital role in supporting the auditory health of South Texas’ youngest residents.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform behavioral evaluations, including VRA, play, and conventional audiometry.
- Administer ABRs in inpatient and outpatient settings (Natural Sleep, Sedation, Anesthesia)
- Dispense and manage amplification devices including hearing aids, bone conduction hearing devices, and cochlear implants.
- Support ENT clinic and other specialty clinics
- Provide education to families and other professionals
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and comply with the newborn hearing screening program requirements.
- Actively participate in team meetings, process improvement initiatives, and community outreach.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or doctoral degree (Au.D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology.
- Texas Audiologist Licensure (or ability to obtain prior to hire).
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Strong flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic environment.
- Highly preferred: Pediatrics and cochlear implant experience, and ENT clinic exposure.
