Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico teaching license required
- Experience or a strong interest in working with K-6th grade students with autism and other special needs
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
- Ready to work on-site, Monday through Friday
- Ability to tailor instructional strategies to individual learning styles and IEP goals
- Compassionate, patient, and skilled in creating inclusive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to K-6th grade students with ASD and other exceptionalities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
- Collect and maintain accurate progress and behavior data
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student growth and independence
- Participate in ongoing professional development
