Our client is a financial services firm. They seek a temp Compensation Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Generate enterprise-wide compensation reports and analyses to deliver insights and enhance decision-making
- Prepare global regulatory compliance deliverables by compiling and submitting required reports, surveys, and filings in accordance with local regulations
- Build financial models and analytical tools to validate forecasts and support special initiatives
- Uncover opportunities to improve process efficiency and streamline data collection, usage, and presentation
- Maintain risks and controls documentation and support related processes, including periodic audits
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication, structured project planning, and timely execution
- Coordinate with internal partners (Engineering, HRIS, Payroll) to ensure systems and processes effectively support compensation needs
- Handle large datasets across multiple systems while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field of study
- 6+ years of relevant experience in finance and/or compensation
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to coordinate and execute projects independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong Excel experience required
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft VBA, SQL, or Alteryx is a plus
