Demand Planner | DeWitt, MI
Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain statistical forecast models for a portfolio of products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to gather market intelligence and refine forecasts.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional plans, and external factors to identify demand drivers and improve forecast accuracy.
- Prepare demand plans and provide input for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Monitor forecast performance against actual sales, identify significant variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize demand planning software and tools to generate, review, and publish forecasts.
- Manage demand planning for new product introductions and product discontinuations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to interpret data and build accurate forecasts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Understanding of S&OP processes and inventory management principles.
Bonus Qualifications
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or advanced Excel modeling.
- Experience with advanced statistical forecasting software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, Anaplan).
- Familiarity with forecasting for new product introductions (NPI) or product lifecycles.
- Experience participating in or leading S&OP process improvement initiatives.
