Deliver specialized care as a MedSurg RN with a focus on renal patients in a dynamic hospital environment located in Marion, SC. This contract position offers a chance to work three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.) with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:6-7, ensuring impactful, focused patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical renal patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system.
- Float within scope to other med-surg units as facility needs arise.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required.
- Adhere strictly to safety and infection control policies.
- Respond and adapt during hurricane season emergency protocols if necessary.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license in South Carolina or a Compact license ready before assignment start.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a MedSurg setting.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability and willingness to float to sister units/facilities.
- First-time travelers are welcome.

Additional Information:
- Shift Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts, with every other weekend required.
- No on-call duties.
- Flexible block schedule accommodations may be requested but are not guaranteed.
- Note: Facility may call off one shift every two weeks, and hurricane season assignments apply June through November, with peak months in August and September.
