Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to serve as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting elementary-aged students across multiple school sites for the remainder of the current school year. The role is itinerant, requiring travel between 2-3 elementary schools in the Lees Summit, MO area, providing specialized speech and language services to diverse student populations. There is a potential for contract renewal for the following school year based on performance and district needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to elementary students with diverse communication needs
  • Manage an elementary caseload efficiently across multiple locations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student assessments

Qualifications:

  • Valid Missouri state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
  • Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple sites
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered services

Location:Lees Summit, Missouri travel between 2-3 elementary schools within the district area
