Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Lees Summit, MO, supporting an elementary caseload of students with high needs. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential services within the school setting, working onsite to deliver targeted therapy and make a positive impact on student communication development.

Position Details:
- Contract role beginning between May 6 and May 13, continuing through May 22 (end of school year)
- Extended contract for Extended School Year (ESY) from June 1 to June 30, with the holiday off on June 19
- Additional coverage at the start of the 202627 school year in August (calendar pending finalization)
- Onsite work required
- Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students with high-needs caseloads
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school and district policies
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting is essential
- Ability to manage an elementary caseload and address diverse speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to onsite presence during contract period
