LOAN OFFICER
ABOUT US:
- $80 million bank with locations in La Crosse, Holmen, and Sparta.
- Accessible, local management with in-market ownership.
- Focused on helping customers, not sales or referral goals.
- Specializing in residential mortgages and small business financing.
- Unique deposit accounts include rewards-based checking.
ABOUT THIS POSITION:
- Office in Sparta to serve Monroe County and surrounding area.
- Be an involved member of the community.
- Independence, self-motivation, and decision-making required.
- Find and develop local lending and deposit relationships that fit our two specialties: residential mortgage lending and small business financing.
- Loan Officers at Park Bank are responsible for the entire credit process – from compliance to underwriting and preapprovals to closing, disbursing, and collecting loans.
- Compliance with specific underwriting, administration, and liquidation standards required. Training provided.
- Loan Officers at Park Bank open account relationships and also have additional responsibilities that could include managing vendor relationships, serving on committees, etc. All Loan Officers are notary publics.
- Work as part of a team and be informed about products and services.
- 8:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
ABOUT YOU:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude with flexibility and willingness to be versatile and attention to detail.
- At least five years of professional experience strongly preferred.
- Sales or relationship-based work experience preferred.
BENEFITS:
- Base salary up to $45,000 and unlimited performance-based pay.
- Outstanding retirement plan. Eligible after one year. Vested after five years. Annual employer contributions equal to 25% of W-2 income.
- 15 vacation days annually and rotation of “soft” federal holidays.
- Health insurance available through Quartz HMO and POS Plans offering access to Gundersen and Mayo. Premiums determined by Quartz. Park Bank pays 75%. Staff pay remaining 25%.
