Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist / Transportation Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our Adult Medical Day Care center. This role is responsible for front desk operations, providing excellent customer service to participants and families, and coordinating daily transportation schedules to ensure safe and timely services.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk / Reception Duties
- Greet participants, families, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls with proper etiquette
- Schedule appointments and maintain daily attendance logs
- Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about services
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Ensure a clean, welcoming front desk environment
Transportation Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate participant transportation (Metro Access and internal drivers)
- Communicate daily schedules with drivers and staff
- Confirm pick-up and drop-off times with participants and families
- Monitor transportation changes and troubleshoot delays
- Maintain transportation logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and program requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Basic computer skills (scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Experience coordinating transportation or logistics is a plus
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday: [Insert hours, e.g., 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM]
- Must be punctual and reliable due to transportation coordination responsibilities
