Full Time, Monday-Friday 11:00pm-7:30am
Join Broadmead (the oldest continuing care retirement community in Maryland) and their brand new Center of Excellence in Health & Wellness! This state-of-the-art Health and Wellness Center utilizes a holistic approach to wellness through a variety of offerings for the 500+ residents of Broadmead, the 300+ employees of Broadmead and older adult members from Baltimore County and other neighboring communities.

Salary Range: $41.60- $62.40

Job Responsibilities
1. Determines staffing needs and resources required for effective administration of nursing care for resident population
2. Assists and supervises staff in the planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of resident care services
3. Works with nursing staff for orientation, development, and evaluation of personnel
4. Makes walking rounds several times per shift
5. Participates in formulating care plans
6. Participates in committees for the development of nursing care policies and procedures including Wellspring Care Resource Teams
7. Communicates and cooperates with physicians, other departments, families, and the public
8. Provides an appropriate environment for residents' needs and for the available resources
9. Conducts and documents a thorough audit of each residents' medical status within 24-48 hours of admission and throughout the residents' course of treatment
10. Assists in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment paln for each assigned resident
11. Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner
12. Oversees care delivery by Licensed Nurses and Geriatric Nursing Assistants
13. Attends and/or participates in rehab team conferences regarding resident progress, problems and needs
14. Attends and/or participates in department/facility meetings, as required
15. Acts in compliance with Broadmead, regulatory and professional standards and guidelines
16. Assesses continuing education opportunities appropriate to discipline and responsibilities in order to maintain clinical currency
17. Adheres to facility policies and procedures and participates in facility quality improvement programs
18. Accountable for promoting internal customer service.
