Job Title: Human Resources Specialist II
Location: Virtual (Work from Home)
Duration: 4 Months contract
Summary:
- Client Disability and Leave Services (DLS) team in the HR Services organization is building a best-in-class case management program to deliver leave of absence, disability and accommodation services to employees globally.
- Provide support for all types of leave of absence and disability life events.
- This person is skilled in responding to changing circumstances and needs, and assists the DLS Manager in paving the way for a connected and trusted case management experience.
- This person will facilitate all initial activities, determine eligibility for any corresponding leave/disability plans, and generate corresponding letters/emails and act on behalf of the DLS Manager in ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Initiate and respond to inquiries about leave and disability events, benefits, and options available to employees.
- Identify and solve problems that may arise, sometimes with limited information.
- Communicate regular updates to employees and stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors
- Ability to deliver results with little supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment
- Proven effective consulting skills, with an ability to influence in all directions
- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and willingness to be vocally self-critical
- HR policy familiarity is required
Preferred Skills:
- Previous Oracle or People Soft experience is nice to have
- Ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies.
- Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization.
- Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams.
- Highly analytical about supporting the business and ensure that the organization rigorously measures and analyzes the right things to drive success.
