Job Description???? We’re Hiring: Collections Specialist – Alivia Health
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about healthcare revenue cycle management? Join our team at Alivia Health as a Collections Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing and reimbursement processes.
In this role, you’ll audit claims, resubmit denials or partial payments, and follow up with health plans, patients, and providers to ensure timely collections and compliance.
???? Key Responsibilities Include:

Analyze and resubmit denied or partially paid claims (E-Claims and paper).

Ensure timely claim submissions in accordance with payer deadlines.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts over 60 days.

Communicate with insurance providers, patients, and medical offices as needed.

Identify and report error patterns and process improvements.

Support special RCM projects and administrative tasks.

Assist with payment agreements, receipts, and patient inquiries.
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of experience in billing and claims (specialty pharmacy billing preferred)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team

Experience with billing software (CPR+ preferred)
???? Education & Certifications:

High school diploma required

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Continuing education certificates in billing a plus, or equivalent to 2 years of experience
