Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized academic, social, and behavioral support to students in 1:1 or small group settings
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
- Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
- Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Completion of TB test per school district standards
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Certification or experience in CPI, PMT, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a plus
