The Data Entry Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate data processing while providing excellent customer service. This position involves handling high-volume data entry, maintaining records, and responding to inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and update data in internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
Verify and review information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Process administrative documents and ensure proper record-keeping.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
Provide support to internal teams by retrieving and organising data as needed.
Assist with scheduling, appointment setting, and follow-ups.
Troubleshoot basic customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security best practices.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with a focus on 10 key typing accuracy
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Assist in maintaining accurate records of accounts payable transactions
Collaborate with internal departments to address payment inquiries and issues
Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Maintain confidentiality of financial information while adhering to corporate accounting standards
