OTE - 180k to 280k - Likely will have close to 70/30 base. Commission is structured as a group number tied to the overall ARR rather than individual deals.

Our client, an AI software development company, is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to support enterprise sales and drive real customer impact. In this pre-sales focused role, you'll serve as the technical partner to Account Executiveshelping prospects understand the platform, validating fit, and proving measurable value through hands-on solution design and implementation.

What You'll Do
Value Discovery & Demonstration

Lead technical discovery to understand customer pain points, workflows, and success criteria.

Design and deliver compelling demos, prototypes, and proofs of value tied to ROI.

Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes and support deal strategy with AEs.
Hands-On Technical Execution

Implement and configure solutions within customer environments across APIs, data pipelines, dashboards, and integrations.

Troubleshoot, iterate, and optimize deployments based on customer feedback.

Ensure a smooth handoff from pre-sales to post-sales success.
Market & Product Feedback

Identify patterns, blockers, and emerging use cases across engagements.

Share field insights to influence product roadmap and improve enablement.

Build reusable demo assets, templates, and best practices to shorten sales cycles.
What Were Looking For

4 to 15 years in pre-sales engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or technical consulting supporting enterprise SaaS, data, analytics, or AI platforms.

Full-stack, data, or infrastructure fluent to speak confidently with engineering leaders.

Experience designing and delivering proofs of value that drive technical validation and deal closure.

Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), APIs, security, and modern data workflows.

Clear commercial mindset, competitive drive, and passion for partnering with sales.

Excellent communication skills able to simplify complexity and influence stakeholders.
