Job Title : Class C Driver / Warehouse Associate

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and motivated Class C Driver / Warehouse Associate to support daily transportation and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining exceptional customer service, and adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is team-oriented and able to balance driving responsibilities with warehouse duties to support efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class C vehicle for local deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers.
- Comply with company policies, DOT regulations, and applicable state and federal laws.
- Receive, process, store, and organize inventory.
- Pick, pack, wrap, label, and prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup.
- Create and process shipping and receiving work orders.
- Enter and update inventory information in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts.
- Participate in forklift training and certification programs.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution preferred.
- Forklift operating experience preferred (certification not required).
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, loading, unloading, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, and operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
