Job Description
Overall Responsibility:
Responsible for performing a variety of clinical duties within the dental office. The Sterilization Technician’s primary duty will be working with clinical staff to ensure instruments used for procedures are sterilized.
Key Tasks &amp; Responsibilities:
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Cleans &amp; sterilizes instruments </li>
<li>Follows Company Sterilization Protocol along with other rules &amp; regulations</li>
<li>Keeps track of inventory in the sterilization area </li>
<li>Keep all counters clean, neat &amp; organized.</li>
<li>Perform weekly spore testing and maintain a log of the results</li>
<li>Perform weekly and monthly maintenance of Autoclave(s)</li>
<li>Maintain proper pre-set trays and ensure they are ready for anticipated procedures. </li>
<li>Assists with laundry duties</li>
<li>End of day duties designated by Head Dental Assistant </li>
<li>Help stock rooms</li>
<li>Other Duties as assigned </li>

Job Specifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>DAI Certification </li>
<li>Ability to lift 15-20 lbs.</li>
</ul>
