Job DescriptionLocation: Bog Brook Training Area, Gilead, MaineKey Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide on-site medical care for approximately 100 youth and 50 adults per week</li>
<li>Maintain and staff the medical room (24/7 coverage rotation)</li>
<li>Administer and manage prescription and over-the-counter medications</li>
<li>Perform assessments, basic treatments, and first aid</li>
<li>Develop and implement nursing care plans</li>
<li>Maintain accurate medical records and treatment logs</li>
<li>Coordinate care with camp staff, parents/guardians, and medical providers</li>
<li>Provide daily health and incident reports to camp leadership</li>
<li>Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the medical facility and equipment</li>
<li>Support and supervise healthcare assistants (1–2 personnel)</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (Maine or Compact State)</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year of pediatric, school, or camp nursing experience</li>
<li>Experience with:
<ul>
<li>Patient assessments and medical histories</li>
<li>Medication administration</li>
<li>Basic diagnostic procedures</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Current Adult and Pediatric CPR certification</li>
<li>Strong communication skills with both children and adults</li>
<li>Ability to work independently in a camp/field environment</li>
