Bloom Women’s Counseling, Consulting, and Wellness, LLC. is a rapidly growing mental health practice dedicated to serving women by providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our clients. We are seeking a dedicated MD/DO, Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team and provide expert medication management services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, particularly related to pre/postpartum mental health. This is an exciting opportunity to develop this new role from the ground up!
Position Overview:
The Medication Management Provider will assess, diagnose, and treat clients with various mental health conditions through pharmacological interventions. The provider will collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans that support each client’s well-being.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assess the need for medication management.

Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychotropic medications in accordance with best practices.

Provide education to clients about medications, side effects, and treatment options.

Work collaboratively with therapists, social workers, and primary care providers to ensure integrated care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Monitor clients for treatment effectiveness and medication adherence, making necessary adjustments.

Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed.

Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice and maintain compliance with state/federal regulations.
Qualifications:

Most have a demonstrated interest in women’s health/mental health.

For MD/DO: Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry or a related specialty.

For Nurse Practitioner: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification required.

For Physician Assistant: Experience in psychiatry/mental health required; certification and prescriptive authority in mental health preferred.

Active and unrestricted state license to practice in [State].

DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.

Experience in outpatient mental health settings is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
