Job Summary

Conducts structured telephone interviews with U.S. businesses to collect confidential employment data for the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) using government-furnished systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls using a government CATI system
  
• Collect employment, job openings, hires, and separations data
  
• Verify and update business and respondent contact information
  
• Address system-flagged data edits during interviews
  
• Encourage transition to secure web reporting
  
• Document all activity accurately in government systems
  
• Meet required quality and productivity standards
  
• Comply with all confidentiality and data integrity rules

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or Associate Degree
  
• Strong verbal communication skills
  
• Basic computer and data entry skills
  
• Ability to follow scripts and regulated procedures
  
• Ability to work on-site in a federal facility
