Job Description

About Mosser Construction:

At Mosser, we don’t just build structures; we build the backbone of our communities. From educational institutions and water treatment plants to the bridges you drive over every day, we’ve been a premier name in Ohio construction since 1948.

What makes us different? We Own It. Literally. Mosser is 100% employee-owned (ESOP). When you join our team, you’re not just an intern; you’re joining a family of owners who take immense pride in being "Sound, Solid, and Reliable." We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to help us tell the story of the incredible work our teams do every day.

The Role:

We are seeking a versatile Marketing Intern to join our Maumee office for the summer semester, working 32-40 hours per week. This role is designed to provide a comprehensive look at marketing within the construction industry. You will support a variety of initiatives, from digital content and market research to brand management and professional communications.

What you’ll be doing:

Content Development: Assisting in the creation and scheduling of professional content for our digital channels and various communication pieces.

Market Research: Helping us stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities for our team to serve our clients.

Brand Support: Collaborating on the update and maintenance of marketing collateral, including presentations, project sheets, and social media assets.

Administrative & Strategy Support: Helping maintain our marketing databases and assisting with the coordination of company events or community outreach.

Who You Are:

A Creative Storyteller: You have a knack for taking technical information and making it human, helpful, and interesting.

Experience Level: You have completed at least one year of college. We are also open to recent college graduates.

Preferred Majors: Marketing, Communications, Visual Communications, Visual Communications Technology, Public Relations, Digital Media, or Professional Writing.

The Toolkit: You are comfortable using Canva to create professional graphics. Experience with Adobe InDesign or Photoshop is a strong plus, but not required.

Communication Style: You have a professional yet approachable writing style and are eager to learn how to communicate effectively with our partners and clients.

Proactive Learner: You’re someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions and is excited to see how a project moves from a blueprint to a finished structure.

Why Mosser?

Competitive Pay: This is a paid, full-time internship.

Professional Growth: You will be treated as a member of the team, with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

Our Culture: We take our work seriously, but we value an upbeat and collaborative atmosphere. At Mosser, your voice matters.
