We are a busy Asian kitchen offering hotpot and lunch service, and we are looking for a reliable, long-term Kitchen Helper / Prep & Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. This is a full-time position with both morning and evening shifts, so we need someone who is serious about steady work and can show up on time every day.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils throughout the shift
- Keep the dish area, sinks, floors, tables, and trash area clean and organized
- Basic prep work: wash and cut vegetables, portion meat and other ingredients, label containers
- Help with food packaging: pack lunch boxes, hotpot items, sauces, side dishes, and toppings
- Refill and restock ingredients, sauces, containers, and packaging materials during service
- Follow food safety and hygiene rules, keep the kitchen tidy and safe
- Assist with other simple kitchen tasks as needed by the chef/manager
Schedule
- Full-time position with morning and evening shifts
- Typically 5 days per week, around 35–40 hours (schedule discussed during interview)
- Weekend and evening availability required
Compensation & Benefits
- $21–$25 per hour, depending on experience and reliability
- Bi-weekly pay (W-2)

Requirements
- Reliable and on time – this is the most important
- Able to stand and work with your hands for several hours in a fast-paced kitchen
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Previous kitchen / dishwashing / prep experience is a plus, but we can train the right person
- Basic English or Chinese is okay
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
