Commercial/Residential Moving Sales Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and driven Commercial/Residential Moving Sales Representative to join our team at Blue Dolly Moving. In this role, you will be responsible for handling inbound leads, building accurate estimates, closing jobs, and actively networking to generate new business. This position is ideal for someone who is competitive, organized, and motivated by performance in a fast-paced environment.

This role includes both inbound sales and local networking/business development.

Duties

• Handle inbound calls, texts, and estimate requests from residential and commercial clients
• Build and send accurate moving estimates based on customer needs
• Follow up with leads and consistently close jobs
• Upsell additional services such as packing, storage, and specialty item handling
• Develop new business through networking, referrals, and local partnerships
• Build relationships with property managers, realtors, businesses, and other referral sources
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to booking
• Work closely with operations to ensure jobs are scheduled and executed properly
• Maintain organized records of leads, follow-ups, and booked jobs

Experience

• Sales experience preferred (moving, logistics, or service-based industries is a plus)
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
• Ability to build relationships and generate business through networking
• Organized and able to manage multiple leads
• Comfortable negotiating and closing deals
• Motivated by performance and earning potential
• Experience with CRM systems is a plus but not required

Compensation

• $45,000 base salary
• Uncapped commission
• Monthly performance bonuses
