Requirements: Associates Degree or Technical Degree in Engineering Preferred and 2yrs of Injection Molding Process Engineering OR 7+ years experience in Injection Molding Process roles
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Process Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing production processes, ensuring high-quality output, and implementing efficient manufacturing practices. This position requires expertise in injection molding and a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and maintain safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Operate and troubleshoot injection molding equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to implement process improvements and maintain production quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in inventory management and supply chain coordination to ensure smooth production flow.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency.
- Participate in root cause analysis for production issues and develop corrective actions.
- Support maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of production metrics.
Qualifications
- Technical Degree in Engineering or a relevant field and at least 2 years of related Injection Molding Process Engineering experience
OR - High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of hands-on injection molding/ production experience of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with safety protocols and quality control procedures
