About Our Department

The Rehabilitation teams at Samaritan are dedicated to evaluating and treating patients facing challenges in self-care, mobility, and functional independence. Our speech therapy teams specialize in:

  • Speech sounds, language, voice, swallowing, and cognition (memory, attention, problem-solving).
  • Providing care to both adult and pediatric patients across various diagnoses in acute and outpatient settings.
  • Following patients from initial evaluation to discharge, ensuring continuity of care and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Current unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Compliance from the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association, or be an active participant in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Ability to travel to multiple points of care.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
