Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a full-time School Psychologist to support elementary students in the Chattanooga area. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, to May 21, 2026, serving K-5 students within Hamilton County Schools. The role is on-site, with no remote or hybrid options available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for elementary students
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Design and implement behavior intervention plans
- Manage cases primarily within an elementary school setting, with occasional travel between assigned schools
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
- Ability to perform detailed psychological assessments and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills for efficient case and meeting management
- Availability for a full-time commitment (37.5 hours per week); part-time applications will not be considered
