Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position offers an opportunity to support early intervention services for children ages 3 to 4 in a school setting located in Dallas, PA (Zip Code: 18612). The daily schedule runs from 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM. The role requires assisting young learners with developmental needs, including toileting duties.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience working with young children in educational or intervention programs. Applicants holding Instructional Assistant qualifications and related degrees are preferred, though candidates with PCA credentials accompanied by documented experience and strong references will be considered. A recent manager reference, completed within the last 2-3 years, is required to proceed with the application.
Key qualifications and skills:
- Experience supporting early intervention or special needs children ages 3-4
- Ability to perform toileting and personal care duties
- Instructional Assistant certification or degree preferred
- PCA certification with quality, documented experience accepted
- At least one recent professional manager reference (within 2-3 years)
