Job Description
A licensed staff nurse must work with the physicians, department heads, nursing assistants, and other personnel to provide comprehensive and continuous individualized care to the residents, provide monitoring and consult to ancillary nursing staff in accordance with the policies set forth by the Inter-Faith Care Center.
 
Qualifications&nbsp; 1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current license to practice nursing in the State of Minnesota. 2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must have a general concern for and interest to work with the elderly. 3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must have the ability to work with and cooperate with all personnel. 4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must have the ability to make sound decisions and work under pressure. 5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be willing to attend inservices/seminars to keep skills and knowledge current. 6. Must possess good nursing assessment skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;
 
Physical Demands&nbsp;1. Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds. 2. Ability to stand for extended periods 3. Fine motor skills 4.Visual acuity
