Our client, a well-established and growing wealth management firm in the Albany area, is seeking a Private Client Associate to support a high-performing Financial Advisor. Position Overview
The Private Client Associate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day client service, account administration, and operational functions. This individual will act as a primary point of contact for clients while ensuring a seamless experience across all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to a Financial Advisor
- Serve as a primary liaison for client inquiries and requests
- Open and maintain client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Process transactions, including transfers, distributions, and trades
- Prepare client meeting materials and follow-up documentation
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Coordinate with custodians and internal teams to resolve issues
- Assist with client onboarding and relationship management
Qualifications
- Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 highly preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- 2+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related field
- Strong understanding of investment products and account types
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems a plus
